Frequently Asked Questions

What Kind of Activities Are Available for Residents?

We offer a variety of activities designed to engage residents mentally and socially. These may include art therapy, music therapy, memory-enhancing exercises, and more. We have a dedicated life enrichment team that goes above and beyond to curate daily schedules for your loved one.

How Do I Know If My Loved One Needs Memory Care?

Signs may include memory loss, confusion, difficulty with daily tasks, personality changes, and wandering. A formal evaluation by a healthcare professional is recommended.

What is our monthly room rate?

The rate depends on the level of care that is needed. We do an initial evaluation for each potential resident to determine the level of care needed. The monthly rate is based on this evaluation. There are no hidden costs or fees.

Can residents stay in Northwoods until the end of their life?

How is Memory Care Different from Assisted Living?
